· Kentucky dropped to 18-5 overall while Florida improved to 18-5
o Kentucky and Florida are now tied in second place in the Southeastern Conference at 8-2, a game behind South Carolina (9-1)
· Kentucky leads the series 99-38
o UK is 35-25 in Gainesville
o The Wildcats had won five in a row against Florida, after Florida won all three matchups in the 2013-14 season
· Next for Kentucky: the Wildcats will return to Rupp Arena Tuesday against LSU at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN

· Kentucky started the lineup of Isaiah Briscoe, Derek Willis, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo and Dominique Hawkins for the first time this season

· Kentucky responded to a Florida 3-pointer to start the second half by going on a 7-0 run over the next 1:24
o With UK within four points, 37-33 at the 17:44 mark, Florida scored the next five
· Florida opened up a 67-52 lead at the 9:27 mark. The 15-point margin was UK’s largest deficit of the season
o They stretched the lead to as much as 24 with 0:22 to play

· UK lost by double-digits for the first time this season
· UK lost by 20 points or more for the first time since falling 88-58 at Tennessee Feb. 16, 2013. Notably Nerlens Noel suffered a season-ending ACL injury at Florida the game prior to that
· Kentucky trailed by at least double-digits for the fourth straight game
· Florida out-rebounded UK 54-29. The -25 rebounding margin was the worst of the Calipari era, eclipsing the -18 deficit in the aforementioned 2013 game at Tennessee

· Freshman De’Aaron Fox returned to the lineup after missing Tuesday’s game vs. Georgia due to illness and scored a team-high 19 points
· It was the third-straight game reaching double-figures counting only games he’s played in
· Freshman Malik Monk scored 11 points, continuing his streak of double-figure scoring in every game (23) this season
· He was held scoreless in the first half for the second time this year. The other such occasion was the season-opener vs. SFA. That was the only other half Monk has been held scoreless this season
· Senior Mychal Mulder returned after missing four games due to illness, and scored eight points on 3 of 6 shooting from the field, including two 3s
· Freshman Bam Adebayo scored nine points, and grabbed seven rebounds
· He tallied a career-high four assists
