Eric Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to a five-year $70 million dollar contract after going almost the entire off-season without any sort of contact to speak of.
It's no secret that Eric Bledsoe and his agent was in a tug-of-war so to speak with the Suns concerning a new contract. For a while, neither side was gonna budge which led to neither Bledsoe or the Suns reaching out to try and settle things throughout the entire off-season. Well, that ended today when Yahoo! Sports announced the five-year $70 million dollar deal that the two sides agreed upon.
I have to admit, this makes me happy. Seeing what Eric came from to what he has accomplished is BEYOND amazing. This is proof that if you put forth the effort and have the passion and dedication, you can accomplish anything.
Congratulations to Eric! It's more than deserved.
