(Rajon Rondo and Paul Wahlberg)
For those of you who don't know, there's a little show called Wahlburgers that follows the Wahlberg family (yes Mark and Donnie Wahlberg) and the restaurant opened by their older brother, Paul Wahlberg. It's based out of Boston, even though they have locations around the world.
Tonight was apparently the season premier and while watching the show, I noticed a familiar face. Paul, the mastermind behind Wahlburgers Restaurant was developing a custom burger for the heart and soul of the Boston Red Sox, David Ortiz. The next scene it showed then Boston Celtic and former Kentucky Wildcat, Rajon Rondo. Rondo said that Davy (David Ortiz) told him to stop in the Wahlburgers Restaurant to try out his custom burger.
Rondo went on to ask if he could get his own signature burger. For those of you who have been wondering what Rondo likes on his burgers, It's simple. Ketchup, lettuce, tomato and onion (if I remember correctly).
I have to admit, it was pretty cool seeing Rajon on Wahlburgers, I just wish he was able to stay in Boston as a Celtic.
