As reported on Twitter by Morgan Chesky (@BreakingChesky) it seems former Cat, Deandre Liggins has been arrested for a reported domestic dispute with a deadly weapon and in the presence of a minor involving a woman believed to be his current girlfriend.
Oklahoma City Thunder GM Sam Presti had this to say about the situation....
"We are aware of the situation and take this matter very seriously. We are in the process of gathering information and have no further comment at this time."
The Oklahoman (an Oklahoma news paper) also had a statement form Oklahoma County Jail official...
"He was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail, where he remains. No bond has been set. He is being held on complaints of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic abuse in the presence of a minor."
I, like all CAT fans certainly hope this gets cleared up and that it isn't actually as bad as it seems. We'll bring you more as news is released.
