Kentucky SURVIVES Columbia 56-46

Kentucky beats Columbia, 56-46 in a game that was by far Kentucky's worst so far this season.

The game saw Columbia score the first 11 points of the game and pretty much dominated the Cats for the first 27 minutes of the game. Sure, Booker and Ulis being out made a difference in the flow of the offense for the Cats, but this was anything but a pretty game. One has to think (hope) that the Cats were overlooking tonight looking forward to UNC on Saturday.

Calipari keeps saying that "we are nowhere near where we want to be offensively" and he is right. This team should be a far better outside shooting team than what they have shown over the last couple of weeks. But, if the outside shot doesn't start falling with a little bit better consistency, things are going to get a lot more difficult for the Cats going forward.

However, Kentucky did win and improved to 10-0 on the season. Up next is the Tar Heels of North Carolina this Saturday. Let's hope the outside shot is falling come Saturday...
