Cats Fold Under Pressure- UF 69 Cats 59

Well, what didn't need to happen did. Kentucky lost a game that they had to win to solidify their post season resume, a game they shouldn't have lost. The first half looked good, but to start the second half we witnessed the old Kentucky that we've seen too many times this season.  The Cats got outscored 34-22 in the paint and had 13 turnovers, most of which was unforced. When you have stats like that, you're supposed to lose.

The story of the game has got to be Kentucky's woes from the free-throw line (14-23) while the Gators enjoyed a WELL ABOVE average free-throw shooting night (22-28) something that has haunted this team all season long and will continue to be their demise.

I said in the preview post to this game, that this would be the so called "tell, tell" sign as far as what to expect going forward. I've got to be honest here, the outlook is not good for this team. Will the make the tournament? More than likely. But, what will be the ending for this team is the big question....
