Cats Bounce Back With a 84-79 Win Over Mizzou

Do I need to express, again, how badly Kentucky needed this win? The best part, they played like they wanted to win, unlike the performance we saw against LSU.

Dakari Johnson told the media yesterday that after the loss to LSU, when the players returned to the hotel room, Alex Poythress called a "players only meeting". Well, that looks like it may have had some effect in this game as the Cats played with the most energy that we have seen in quite sometime.

Another game, another no-show for Willie Cauley-Stein hence Dakari Johnson getting his first career start today.

All in all, it was a good showing for the Cats who actually played with some intensity and grit, something that this team has lacked all season long. One thing is for sure though, for this team to reach it's FULL POTENTIAL, Willie Cauley-Stein has got to get out of this funk he's in.
