Cats Drop Third Game of The Season To UNC

Another top 25 team and another loss for the Cats as they drop their third game of the season to North Carolina

The two things I said in my preview to the game that the Cats couldn't have happen happened. Marcus Paige dominated in the second half with 21pts (all in the second half) and the Cats committed 17 turnovers most of which were unforced.

The only bright spot for Kentucky was the much improved play of the Harrison twins. Andrew ended the night with 17pts and his brother, Aaron chipped in with 20. Aside from that, there wasn't much to like about this game and left Kentucky fans with a lot to worry about going forward. The main cause for concern in this game was the fact that Julius Randle was virtually nonexistent for pretty much the entire game aside from the last two minutes when Carolina was trying to avoid fouling.

I'm not sure what to make of this team so far this season. There just doesn't seem to be any passion or aggression at all and that is also cause for concern. This very well could be a long season (mainly because of pre-season hype) if things don't get turned around in hurry...
