Cats Bounce Back with 70-55 Over Boise State

Kentucky bounces back with a win over the nations #2 scoring team, Boise State 70-55. The Cats' defense was much improved holding the Broncos to 55 points when they came in averaging a little over 92ppg.

The story of the night besides Willie Cauley-Steins new hairdo was the impressive stat line he turned in tonight, 6pts, 7rebs and 9blks on the night.

Kentucky had four players in double figures. James Young 21pts, Aaron Harrison 13pts, Andrew Harrison 13pts and Julius Randle with another double-double 17pts and 11rebs.

Was this a turning point for the Cats or is it just fools gold. I guess we'll find out this Saturday as the Cats travel to North Carolina to take on the Tarheels in the Dean Dome.

Boxscores and post game notes and quotes to follow….
