ZagsBlog.com is reporting that James Blackmon Jr. is "getting close to a decision". Blackmon, who decommitted from Indiana earlier this year says he'll probably commit before the November signing period. So far, Blackmon only has an official visit set up to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness and says he may set up one for Kansas and Michigan State, but goes on to say that he doesn't know if he'll set those up or not.
Since decommiting from the Hoosiers, Blackmon has only officially visited Michigan. One thing worth mentioning is that James' father, is a former Wildcat.
I don't know if that will have any effect in his decision making process or not, but one has to think that it certainly doesn't hurt Kentucky's chances.
