Anthony Davis to be on Olympic team?

There has been rumors that because of injuries, Anthony Davis could be added to the USA Olympic team. Well, it looks like those rumors may have some legs.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that it has already happened:

In the wake of serious injuries that have decimated Team USA's roster of Olympic finalists, sources said Kentucky big man and projected No. 1 pick Anthony Davis has been selected as a replacement candidate to compete in the London Games this summer.

Of course this just means that Davis will be added to the roster for tryouts. The final roster will be trimmed to 12 sometime in June. Just being considered despite having not played a single NBA game is impressive to say the least. I know BBN would love to see Davis representing the United States in the Olympic games this summer. Let's hope this story is true.
