Cal on SEC teleconference

First, let me start by saying this was the first time I have had the opportunity to listen in on the SEC teleconference, and I gotta say it was pretty exciting.

There was some funny moments from Kevin Stallings saying "Kentucky made it boring last season by going undefeated", to a certain reporter asking Billy Donovan if a player had lost weight because he "looked quicker this season".

Here's some highlights from Cals time on the conference:
"Tennessee is a team that's dropped a couple, they've got really good perimeter play and Stokes is a beast. They will be coming in hyped up"

Cal on his teams play as of late:
"This team has got to buy in the way last years team did"

Someone asked Cal about next years teams and he laughed and said "I'm worried about today's practice and your asking about next year"

Cal on his team having break downs towards the end of games:
"My team has got to get to the point where they all buy in and don't have any breakdowns in the last three minutes allowing 16-0 and 15-0 runs. "

Cal on the crowd for A&M:
"The crowd for A&M was outstanding probably the best since I've been here except for Louisville or North Carolina. Our fans even gave the Turner kid a standing ovation."

It was really neat to hear all the coaches talk about their upcoming games and how they prepare for other teams. I hope I have a chance to listen in again.

Again these are just highlights I was able to catch. Kinda hard to do when you work in a loud warehouse.
