If you're a Kentucky fan, then you know that Dallas Mavericks forward, Dirk Nowitzki is a big UK fan. The reason for that you ask; Dirk himself stated earlier this week that and he not went to the NBA he would've gone to the University of Kentucky.
Dirk also expressed his disappointment over the Mavericks playing on the road this weekend causing him not to be able to watch the Cats in the Final Four.
Coach Cal took this pic of the team standing in front of Dirk Nowitzki's locker. Notice the Go UK sign perched on top. It don't get much more awesome than that. Cal posted the following message with the pic on Facebook...
"In front of Dirk Nowitzki's locker. He's a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan. #SucceedAndProceed"
Also, notice the "catch phrase succeed and proceed" t-shirts the guys already have on. The impressive part about the shirts are the fact that Cal didn't drop that catch phrase until today at his pre-game press conference.
