Today is a day that Kentucky fans all across the Bluegrass State should be celebrating. That's right, it's the birthday of one Mr. Adolph Rupp. The man that turned Kentucky Basketball into what it is today and coached the Wildcats from 1930 until retiring in 1972 would've been 112 years old. During his time at Kentucky, Rupp complied 876 total wins, 4 national championships and an astounding 27 SEC Championships. For his career at Kentucky, Rupp left the program winning 82% of the games he coached. Even though I'm not old enough to say that I've seen the man coach a single game, it's still hard to believe he would've been 112 today.
Happy Birthday Mr. Rupp
