With the reports coming out that Evan Daniels saying he BELIEVES that Andrew Wiggins will eventually end up at Florida State, Kentucky fans have become a bit restless. Evan Daniels is one of the best recruiting gurus in the biz, so his word carries a lot of weight when it comes to this type of thing, but again, this is just his OPINION. Not saying it won't eventually happen, truth is no one knows anything right now.
I did however ask Huntington Prep coach Rob Fulford about the latest development.
"Anything people say now is strictly opinion. Andrew's plans have not changed. He plans on taking officials to UK, Kansas, and UNC after our season."
After hearing Evan's thoughts about where he believes Andrew will end up, it made me think maybe with Kentucky signing so many top players, it made Andrew lose a little interest. This is what coach Fulford had to say when I asked him about all the talent Kentucky is signing.
"It doesn't matter. The other guys there or coming in would be affected if he chooses UK, not Andrew. He will be the best player on the team wherever he decides to go."
So for now at least, everything is the same it has been. This kid keeps his recruitment very quiet and doesn't get into the whole being in the "spotlight" type of thing. This recruitment will drag out for a while, so fans should set back and let it work itself out.
